- DME Fail Flags:
Notes:
- The amber DME flag replaces the DME distance reading on the Nav Data Display and Primary Flight Display.
- The DME flag will show on the Nav Data Display when in the VOR or APP mode.
DME Fail Possible Causes:Before replacing any component perform BITE if available. Perform a DME interrogator bite in the E&E or a nav control panel test.
1.DME Interrogator
2.Wiring from the DME interrogator to the DEUs
3.Wiring from the NAV Control Panel to the DME Interrogator
DME Flag:
Circuit Breakers:DME #1: P18-1 = B3.
DME #2: P6-1 = A14.
