The center tank on a A321 has jet pumps only.
Note #2You can only transfer fuel from the center tank with the fuel pumps in automatic control.
Steps to XFR Fuel From Center to Wings:1.On the wing, power up the Defuel/Refuel panel and perform a high level sensing test.
2.On the wing Defuel/Refuel panel (800VU) put the mode select switch in the "Defuel XFR" position.
3.On the wing Defuel/Refuel panel (800VU) put the applicable wing tank refuel valve to the "OPEN" position.
4.In the cockpit, push in the XFEED P/BSW, "ON" and "OPEN" light illuminate.
5.In the cockpit, push in the "MODE SEL P/BSW", the "MAN" light extinguishes
6.In the cockpit, push in the "CTR TK L XFR (CTR TK R XFR)" P/BSW (or both). The "OFF" light extinguishes.
7.In the cockpit, push in related "TK PUMPS#1 and PUMPS#2 P/BSW". The "OFF light extinguishes.
8.In the cockpit, on the ECAM fuel page, monitor the fuel quantity indications. Fuel Transfer is in progress.
9.When fuel quantities are correct, shut "OFF" the "CTR TK L(CTR TK R)" and "L/R TK PUMPS 1 & 2". The "OFF" light illuminates. Close the XFEED P/BSW, "ON" & "OPEN" light extinguishes.
10.On the wing Defuel/Refuel (800VU) return the applicable wing tank refuel valve to "Normal" position. Put the mode select switch in the "OFF" position.
