- Aircraft configuration prior to reset:
ECAM warning displayed and will not clear. Engines shut down.
Circuit breakers to reset:None
Steps to clear warning:Select AP1 pushbutton on FCU, the pushbutton will,
illuminate. Push the red autopilot disconnect button on one of the sidesticks.
Reset duration:10 seconds.
Results of power up test or reset:Pass: Message will clear and not recall.
Fail: Red AP OFF message will display.
Notes:A/P pushbuttons must not be selected before
starting engines. If selected, and engines are started, the message is latched and will not clear. If this occurs after engine start, shut engines down then complete steps above.
